What a virtual consultation cannot do

A video call cannot measure your cornea, check your retina or your eye pressure, or confirm that a procedure is safe for you. Every plan discussed remotely is provisional until you have been examined in person at the clinic.

We are explicit about this because the alternative — implying a surgical decision can be made over video — would be misleading, and because the in-person examination genuinely does change plans.
